New-to-Canada Long-Term Development in Sport and Physical Activity Pathway

The New-to-Canada Long-Term Development Pathway (NLTD) is a guide to help organizations support newcomers through sport and physical activity. It’s for both settlement services and sport groups aiming to include newcomers in their programs.

By working together, these partners help newcomers feel welcome, stay active, and build community—supporting both personal growth and national resettlement goals.
