About the MSAB

The mission of the Multi-Sport Awards Banquet is to honour the achievements of our amateur athletes and the coaches, volunteers, sport leaders and corporations that support them while enjoying an evening of cocktails, entertainment, and a full dinner buffet.

Award categories will aim to recognize athletes, coaches and volunteers’ accomplishments while allowing community members to nominate deserving members of the community. The recipients are selected by a qualified selection committee.

The Awards Banquet will offer an interactive showcase that will highlight the different sports in the region. Not only will you get to enjoy an evening of sport recognition, you will also get to meet a variety of sport representatives.

Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025

Venue: Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre

Doors Open: 6:00 PM

Dinner: 6:30 PM

Formal Proceedings Begin: 7:00 PM

Guest Speaker: Beckie Scott – Olympic gold medalist & advocate for clean sport

Hall of Fame Inductions: We will be inducting three individuals and one team into the Wood Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame

Sponsor Meet & Greet: Sponsors are invited to the room at 6:00 PM for an exclusive cocktail hour to meet and greet Beckie Scott
